People may not believe it but Beyoncé does have insecurities! After giving a performance in London this past week and having to end the show early because she lost her voice, fans were not angry as they helped her sing the chorus to her song  ‘Countdown’.

On the TV special she talked about the things that make her who she is and the insecurities that she has.

There were some excerpt of her interview from the show that were released:

On gross things you may see while she’s on stage
“My nose runs a lot and when I’m singing I can’t blow it, so there have been occasions when I’ve ended up with a ‘bubble’ coming out my nose”

On sweating while on stage
Everyone thinks I have the fans (wind machines) because I’m being fashionable, but I work so hard on stage if I didn’t have them I’d be dripping.”

On parts of her body she would change
If I could change one part it would be my feet. After all the years dancing they’re a little beat up. And I wear big earrings because I don’t like my ears.”

The full TV special, “A Night With Beyoncé” will be airing in December.

After starring as Nicki Minaj’s love interest in her ‘Right Thru Me’ music video, Willy Monfret was unknown until now. On the cover of KRAVE Magazine’s “We Own Fashion” issue, he talks about keeping his blue green eyes on the prize.

Monfret wore a leather, snake skin jacket without a shirt underneath. And the part-time D.J. has recently signed with RED modeling agency.

TelevisionNews: ‘Single Ladies’ Has Been Set For Season 2…

Queen Latifah recently made a statement about the show that she created, ‘Single Ladies’, after she was asked whether or not they would be back for another season.

“My partner Shakim and I are so excited that ‘Single Ladies’ has been received so well. We knew from the beginning this show was going to appeal to people everywhere; it’s funny, sexy and smart. We are so happy that we were able to join with VH1 to find such a great home for this incredible show.”

Queen Latifah seems to be very proud of the success of her show and even though I don’t care much for this particular television series I am happy that the show is doing better than I predicted. Congrats Queen!

The season finale has been scheduled to air August 8th and the next season will begin filming later on this year.

MovieNews: Terence J. Is Being Added To ‘Think Like A Man’ Cast…

‘Think Like A Man’ has been the upcoming movie that has African Americans buzzing about who is going to star in the film, what the movie is going to be about, and what we should all expect as far as drama, comedy, romance, etc. Recently the cast of the movie got a little bigger when Terence J., Lala, and Meagan Good were added to the all-star list.

A movie based on Steve Harvey’s bestselling book ‘Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man’ is telling the story of four friends and their relationships. When their women go out and buy a copy of Steve Harvey’s book then tables are quickly turned and their relationships are left shaken up.

Other cast member that we can all expect to see in this film would be Michael Ealy, Jerry Ferrara, Regina Hall, Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, Romany Malco, Gary Owen, Gabrielle Union, and Arielle Kebbel. The movie is set to release on April 6, 2012 and I will be the first in line. Mr. Harvey’s book is amazing so I know that his movie will be unmatched!

After being fired by his daughter two months ago, Matthew Knowles has been accused of unethical business behavior, including allegations that he stole money from his own daughter.  Matthew has denied stealing any money from Beyonce at any time. He claims that he and his daughter still have a great relationship, but his concern is that people from her camp continue to try to ruin his reputation. Those people include employees of Beyonce’s super star husband, Jay-Z and other members of ROC Nation.

After filing papers in Texas court, Matthew Knowles made this statement:

“We absolutely have not taken any money from Beyoncé, and all dollars will be accounted for,” he told The Associated Press in an interview Thursday afternoon. “In no way have we stole money. Again, this about the people who have made these claims — they have to come into the light.”

Mr. Knowles has guided his daughter’s career since she was 10-years-old.  After Beyoncé announced that he would no longer be her manager, she made a public statement to show that there is no animosity between her and her father.

“He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly. I am grateful for everything he has taught me.”

Everything seems to be okay between the two of them, but even if there are some other issues, then they obviously want to deal with them privately. I wish the two of them the best of luck in both of their careers.

So, I guess Usher and Grace Miguel are over? You’d think so since he was seen with German Model, Victoria Martini, outside Lair nightclub in New York this weekend.

Usher was strolling the streets while Martini was inside Lair shooting for a music video. When he saw the 5’11 beauty he stopped and snapped a few pictures with her, then gave her some career advice and left the scene after saying, “I’ll see you soon, I’m sure”.

This could be nothing more than a friend trying to help out a friend but I mean come on, it’s Usher, the player of the century.

Wiz and Amber have been known to get a little nasty out in public by grabbing booties, licking tongues, and grabbing more booties, but I really don’t know what to think about this one. Wiz is starting to get a little bit over board with his affection giving, by getting down on his knees and licking Amber Rose’s shorts.

I understand that they are in love, but there should be some boundaries when it comes to them being in love. You just keep some things private…

Even though Jay-Z is busy working on his collaborative album with Kanye West, ‘Watch The Throne’ isn’t the only thing that is currently on Jay’s mind. After this photo was released of he and Frank Ocean, looking as if they were focused during some serious studio time people began to think, ‘ hey, that’s not bad for a new comer in the game.’

Frank Ocean will be featured on two songs from the ‘Watch The Throne’ album, ‘Sweet Baby Jesus’ and ‘No Church In The Wild’. The album is scheduled to hit store shelves on August 2nd.

With his cute smile and Elvis hair style, I knew that Bruno Mars was going to be in the game for a while when I first heard him on B.O.B.’s “Nothing On You” track. He has a stage presence that is unmatched and I know that there are nothing but more great things to come from Mr. Mars.

Bruno Mars recently took on Billboard Magazine in the 50 Year Celebration addition:

On getting dropped by his first label, Universal Motown
I wasn’t ready for it. I did nothing. And the lesson was — why are you waiting for someone to come and write a song with you? You know how to play the freakin’ guitar. Do it on your own.

“There was a lot of rejection. A lot of other labels saying, ‘You don’t know who the hell you are. You’re doing all this reggae, R&B, rock stuff. How the hell do we market that? Are you pop? Are you urban?’ Elektra gave me a shot and trusted my vision.”

On how he became a songwriter first
Brandon [Creed, then VP of A&R at Epic Records] was always saying, ‘You need a story. You need to be in the studio writing for people.’ At the time I was like, ‘You’re crazy. I’m amazing!’ But he was absolutely right. Working and interacting with other artists and being so involved with the business aspect; understanding A&R, understanding radio, understanding music videos meant that when it came to my time, I’d seen how it goes.”

On being caught with cocaine
It’s something that I wish would go away. It’s a cloud that constantly follows me no matter how many achievements. I’d like to move on. To show that I’m here for my music. Not to be in a tabloid.

On his success
It’s a rare thing that happens, especially in this day, where it’s real hard to sell albums. I’m traveling to places that I’ve never even heard of and there are all these people singing the songs back — and English is not even their first language. It’s like, what the hell happened?

On who he would like to work with in the near future
I’m just a mixed-up dude. I want to work with the Kanyes, the Jay-Zs… a Rihanna, a Gaga, Kings of Leon, Mumford & Sons. I want to do all those things. As proud as I am of “Doo-Wops,” I feel like, ‘Oh, man. People haven’t seen nothing. They don’t even know what I’m about to do,’ and that’s what I can’t wait to show the world.

“When people fall is when they’re like, ‘OK. Now I’m here, what’s next? A clothing line?’ That’s not what I’m trying to do. It’s like, ‘Don’t be a slut. Remember your dream. Do your music and keep it special.’”

Apparently, Biggie’s mama ain’t having it and she doesn’t care who has a problem with it. Recently Mrs. Voletta Wallace blocked Lil’ Kim from getting on Monica’s new single, “Anything (To Find You)” which is over a sample of the song “Who Shot Ya.”

The song was produced by Missy Elliot and originally had Monica, featuring Lil’ Kim and Ricky Rozay. But Mrs. Wallace wasn’t feeling the fact that her sons song was going to be covered by Lil’ Kim and quickly had her removed from the song.

Monica spoke on the issue via Twitter:

I can understand Monica’s hurt but I can also understand Mrs. Wallace’s frustration. Hopefully they can come up with some type of alternative, so that everyone will be happy…

So apparently Kim Kardashian and her fat booty cheeks keep men on the prow for more. First it was Reggie Bush with his Kimmy K. “look-a-like”, and now it’s Ray J with his little British Kim Kardashian “wanna-be”.

Recently Ray J. was seen with a new little lady who goes by the name of Imogen Thomas. Thomas is from Britain and is known as the UK’s version of Kim Kardashian. She started doing reality t.v. when she appeared on Big Brother, has dated dozens of soccer players after that, is always on the front of a magazine showing off her ‘cakes’ and she has even made her own sex tape once upon a time.

The two were seen strolling the streets, cuddling up, and having dinner together.

Just last night, Dirk Nowitzki and his fiancé hit the red carpet at the ESPYS. Dirk was looking good and feeling great since the Mavericks celebrated their win over the Miami Heat, things couldn’t get any better for him at this point.

Scheduling to get married later on this year to his Swedish sweetheart, Jessica Olsen, who he met last year. Life seems to really be going upward for Dirk at this point and Your Black World is very happy for him, wishing the cute couple the best of luck.

After making one rap album and only three years in the rap game, Waka Flocka Flame has finally decided to quit rap for good. He took to Twitter to express his thoughts and reasoning for wanting to quit rapping:

“This game 2 Fake. I quite rap after this year…”

No one knows what his plans are after rapping is over, but he did say that he wouldn’t mind working at Wal-Mart once he leaves.

“I’m tired of going through what I go through, and punk a–es always rain on my world. There’s so [many] different haters, fake smiles, different hugs. I’d rather work at Walmart than rap, and that’s my word on God. Yup, I put that on Jesus Christ. I’m not lying or nothing. It’s something I could never explain to people because they could never understand it ‘cause they not living the lifestyle. At the end of the day, the people who’s living the lifestyle could understand why I’m doing it.”

Waka Flocka’s mama, Deb Antney (A.K.A. The Kris Jenner of Hip Hop), has her sons back and has made it clear that she totally supports his decision to quit rapping:

“He talking about quitting. He’s sick of this. We all are. We’re all disgusted with this stuff. You can’t trust people.”

Does Waka even have enough money to retire? Well, I guess we’ll find out when we see him working in the check out line at Wal-Mart…

SexNews: New Sex Study Shows That Men Prefer Cuddling While Women Prefer Sexual Satisfaction…

According to Huff Post Women, a new sex study has been done to show that men enjoy cuddling while women enjoy “the business”. The study proves that while in long-term relationships men who get more touching and hugging are happier in their relationships, while women are happier with the sexual satisfaction.

Men who reported frequently kissing or cuddling with their partners were on average three times as happy with their relationships as men who reported limited interaction. Perhaps more surprising, the study found it was sexual satisfaction that was more important to women in long-term relationships. And it also found that for women, sex got better over time — they reported significantly more sexual satisfaction after being with their partner for 15 years.

“This study makes it clear our assumptions aren’t always borne out by research,” Jennifer Bass, director of communications at The Kinsey Institute told ABC News.

Psychologists who were not involved in the research were intrigued by the study’s findings that men need touch and affection to be happy in relationships.

Just this weekend Halle Berry had to dial 911 twice after seeing an intruder standing in her front yard.

Saturday Halle called the Police after she’d noticed a man jumping over the privacy wall that blocked her home. When Police arrived it was too late, visitors had already went out to confront the man and he fled the scene.

Sunday Halle had to call Police officers again. She was standing in her kitchen when she saw a man standing outside of the window, staring at her with a book in his hand. When Police arrived once again the intruder was gone.

Halle said that she believes the intruder was the same person from Saturday. She didn’t know whether he was a crazy fan who wanted an autograph, a member of the paparazzi, or a stalker.

Wow! That is scary!

ParenthoodNews: Woman Gives Birth To 16-Lb. Baby Boy!!!

They say that everything is bigger in Texas, but geesh! A Texas woman by the name of Janet Johnson gave birth to a baby boy, JaMichael Johnson this week.  According to doctors, everyone knew that he was going to be a big one. Weighing in at 16 pounds, Johnson said that she told all of her friends not to purchase any newborn clothing, mainly because JaMichael would not be able to fit the clothes.

According to reports, Johnson was diagnosed with diabetes during her pregnancy and doctors say that this could be the reason for her giving birth to such a large child.

“It’s a beautiful baby, but for health reasons we’d rather not see a baby this large. They can have a little harder time maintaining their blood sugar,” said nurse Mary Beth Smith, who helped deliver the baby.

All I can do is give a round of applause to Janet Johnson for carrying around and giving birth to such a huge child.
