WhiteFolksNews: Bill Maher Attacks Kim Kardashian: “Your Father Started The Kardashian Tradition Of Getting Black Men Off!” July 8, 2011

Twitter was buzzing with celebrities stating their disbelief that Casey Anthony was found not guilty, it was no different with Kim Kardashian. Stating that she was speechless that Casey Anthony got off so easily, Bill Maher decided to attack Kim, her family and her deceased father, Robert Kardashian, who was part of the legal team that helped O.J. Simpson get off.

After Kim wrote the Tweets, Bill Maher made a statement that wouldn’t be made by most people in their right mind:

“Kim Kardashian is upset with Casey Anthony verdict? Ur father defended O.J.! Starting the Kardashian tradition of getting black men off.”

Even though Maher is a comedian and it is his job to tell jokes that statement was still very cruel, racist, and unnecessary.

Kim K. never actually made a rebuttal directly toward Bill Maher, but she still tweeted this:

“Reading the comments here & its nuts people think just because I was close to the OJ trial I can’t have my own opinion on the Casey Anthony case?”

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and so is Bill Maher.  But he really needs to ease up on the jokes because that was just plain rude and harsh.  Maher has been accused of racism in the past and seems to have a warped perception of what it means to be black.  Last year, he made a comment during the BP Oil Spill in which he stated that the real first black president would get the executives into a room and shoot one of them in the foot.  Maybe he needs to grow up.

Zach Galifianakis, star of Hangover & Hangover Part II

Many people may know Zach from the hilarious movie, “The Hangover”. Which was played by his character, Alan. In the movie Alan was a weird loner with no friends and to bond with his brother-in-law to be and the rest of the fellas he put “roofies” into their drinks and that’s where the hilarious antics began.

But what bothered me this week about Zach is when he went onto the Bill Maher talk show, “Real Time”. Making a joke out of the last interview that he had on the show when he smoked a (fake) joint trying to make a statement that marijuana should be made legal in America, this time he shot up (fake) heroin. And even though it was all out of fun I asked myself, would people take it as the same joke if he were black? And the reason why I think that America was showing favoritism at this moment is because a black comedian going on television to shoot up heroin as a JOKE would have been typical in the eyes of many white Americans because drugs are what most African Americans have been known to use from Richard Pryor to Whitney Houston.

I think that Zach is a brilliant and hilarious man but I also feel that the crowd was laughing with him, where as if he were an African American they would have been laughing at him…
