HipHopNews: Rihanna Show Cancelled After Stage Catches Fire! July 10, 2011

During a concert performance in Dallas, Friday night, Rihanna had to end her show after a fire broke out above the stage. The fire broke out as Ri Ri sang her song, “California King Bed” and forced fans to evacuate the building when sparks fell onto the stage. No one from Rihanna’s camp has stated whether or not there would be another show, but Ri Ri took to her Twitter page to express her thoughts on the night:

DALLAS!!! We set the stage on FYAH tonight!!! LITERALLY!!! I’m so pissed, I was havin so much fun wit yall too!!! I gotta come back man!!

DALLAS yall [CRAZY]!!! Love this f*ckin place! Glad u guys are safe!!! I promise I’ll be back!!! #MoFYAH

Rihanna has been seen being all ‘smoochiful’ with many celeb-men in Bollywood, the last lucky man was Hip Hop star, Drake. In the August addition of Cosmopolitan UK, Rihanna spoke about her thoughts on dating, love and relationships.

Ri Ri’s thoughts on love:

“I’m open to love. But guys should have to earn it. Because the minute they get it, they want something else.”

“Men are like hunters: they like the chase. So you have to keep ’em guessing. Actually, I’m like that too. I get bored quickly. So if someone can make me laugh, that’s the best.”

Ri Ri’s thoughts on dating:

“It can definitely be intimidating to guys to date someone in this industry. It’s really hard to find a guy who really doesn’t care about that stuff. Right now, it’s easier just having my career to focus on.”

Ri Ri’s thoughts on incident involving R&B Artist Chris Brown:

“It was an aggressive and defensive time, and allowed me to start not giving a s–t. I’ve always been good at masking my emotions. For me, it’s tougher to be vulnerable than to be tough.”

“I walked around with a very f–k-you attitude.”

I absolutely love Rihanna for representing what a strong woman should be like. She is the best!

Rihanna and Drake were spotted at a night club in Montreal, CA. getting close and cumfy. A source tells TMZ that they saw the two at the night club and they appeared to be a couple, kissing, holding hands, and all ‘lovey-dovey”

Rihanna has tried to deny it way too many times, but hey if they are dating then I say good for them. They make amazing music together and they would make an even better couple.

After all of the heat that Rihanna has been getting this week someone finally applauds her for her music video, “Man Down”… Even though I feel that America should be applauding Rihanna all at the same time for being so brave and talking about something that affects all people, Gabrielle Union speaking on the video shows that all people go through the same things…

While in Washington DC. this past weekend, Union attended the National Advisory Committee of Violence Against Women… She spoke about her rape, as she has many times before but one fact that many of us didn’t know is that she tried to shoot her rapist, as Rihanna had acted out in her music video. She stated that she was glad that the bullets didn’t hit her rapist because it would have “added insult to injury…”

I am glad that Union and Rihanna both decided to come out and talk about this issue, being that it is a real issue that happens to real people… My hat goes off to both of these ladies for being so brave…

Just a few days ago as Rob and Rihanna tweeted back and forth to one another, Rob threw a hint to Rihanna that he needed a date for his sisters wedding…

I do think that Rihanna will attend but for her to attend with Rob is something that we will all have to hold our breath on. Being that Rob is not as ambitious as the rest of the Kardashian crew, it would be odd for Rihanna to even think about Rob as being a potential of any kind…

But I do hope that Rob’s wish of taking Rihanna as his date does come true and that they have an amazing time together…

Ri-Ri is going to be on the July cover of Cosmopolitan Magazine and she gets straight down to business…

In this particular article she speaks about being tough in the music industry and how she survived with everything that has happened to her in this past couple of years.

Being made into a strong woman was not easy, she said. She wants people to understand that life is what made her so strong to keep pushing and turn herself into a mega star. She never depended on anyone to give her fame, she always knew that if she wanted it bad enough she would have to go out and get it herself.

Rihanna is a true example of what all young girls like myself should want to be like when they get older, someone that is beautiful inside and out, but never depends on anyone to give them anything. Rihanna wanted it and with that urge for success she was able to make all of her dreams come true…Go Ri-Ri!!!!!!!!

Many people have already heard Chris Browns new album entitled “F.A.M.E.” and I must admit for myself that I think that the album is absolutely BANANAS (in a good way). The album has been successful since its release date on March 18, 2011, carrying the number one spot on the U.S. Billboard 200 Charts and selling 270,00 copies in its first week.

But we all must ask ourselves, does this mean that all is forgiven and forgotten? Do we still associate Brown with the beautiful Rihanna even though he has charmed women since he has been with her? With all of the hard work that Brown has put into this great album I really do hope that he can move into his future instead of having to re-live the nightmares of his past daily. All is forgiven for me because Rihanna has received awesome success and with this album I think that he will too! Look at him now!
